cactus
i've always had a thing for cactus. now that i live among them, i can't help but explore my fascination. they express a sacred goemetry and evoke images of underwater lifeforms and of things extraterrestrial. one more keyhole to the door of the divine.

cars
i love old cars. american ones from the 40's and 50's, full of style and glamour, rich in glitz and detail. i miss the age of chrome and large elegant curves. i occasionally go to auto shows where the glory of these old chariots is resurrected.

mandalas and dimensional composites
starting with the representational, i can take the image as far out as my ability to see beauty and dimension in it. i find that when i superimpose an image on itself, it brings out it's natural symmetry and inherent design. oddly enough, even the more complex of these composites look familiar to me and evoke something very deep.
